Description
When he came out of prison, Steve Britton swore he’d never use his gun again. He went straight, took two partners, and set up as a mustanger — hard, honest work. One partner, Eddie Lane, wasn’t much more than a kid and the other, Kyle Reeve, was a friend from before jail. But Britton hadn’t counted on the men of the Chain Link spread. The owner and ramrod seemed to have it in for them, and when the owner’s son is killed and they set their sights on Britton. When they hang one of his partners, Steve has no choice.
