Description
The “Shadow of the Gun” was upon Curt McVey’s face. Three years ago, he had killed Ross Kellerman, owner of the largest ranch in the district, in a gunfight. Then he had left town and his girl, Ellen Santangelo, behind. Now Ellen is engaged to Sheriff Wade Daugherty and Curt McVey has returned with the attitude that the town owes him and he expects to collect. With the help of Gil Rennick, he plans to grab the Kellerman’s ranch and win back Ellen, even at the price of another killing.
