Description
Maggie Carter is blind; the park is her safe place but newly married and expecting her first baby, she isn’t sure if she will cope. Elsa is also expecting her first child and without anyone to support her, she is terrified that her child will be taken away. But when Maggie meets Elsie, all is not as it seems. Elsa, now known as Elsie, lost her baby sixty years ago, and suffering from Alzheimer’s, she keeps re-living the trauma. Struggling under the expectations and intentions of others, Maggie and Elsa’s chance meeting on the park bench offers them each a lifeline and a friend.
