Description
Poppy Day is a sweet, sunny hairdresser who lives in East London and married her childhood sweetheart, Mart. Now Mart is fighting in Afghanistan, and Poppy is counting the days until he returns. A knock at the door rips Poppy's world apart. Mart has been taken hostage, and the army can't do anything to rescue him. Refusing to believe in a future without her husband, Poppy decides to bring him home herself.
