Description
August, 1793. John longs to sail, but he must stay on land for his daughter, Tabitha. But when Tab catches yellow fever John steals her onto a boat in the hope the sea air will cure. Twenty years earlier, Helen is given a slave girl for her birthday. Soon the girls are confidantes and it’s an enduring friendship until the arrival of John, a pirate turned soldier. Helen must decide between security or a sea adventure with the man she loves.
