Description
In March 1944 the RAF attacked the spiritual home of the Nazi Party: Nuremberg. The raid on the 30th March 1944 started as a run-of-the-mill operation but became the costliest in terms of aircraft losses that the RAF suffered in a single night, and has since come to be seen by historians as a comparative failure. This new book tells the human story of this disaster, including interviews with the very last survivors of the raid.
