Millennium Centre, Bute Pl, Cardiff Bay CF10 5AL - 19/09/2018 09:30:00
Being held on 19th September.
Our Digital Services Training Events are always a popular workshop day with library authorities.
They offer an opportunity to share and receive advice and best practice on:
- Promoting your digital and physical collections
- Increasing your digital service usage stats
- Attracting new members and retaining existing ones
Teas and coffees will be served on arrival and a lunch is provided as part of this free Training Event.
A full agenda for the day will be made available in the coming weeks.
We are also delighted to be joined by a guest author on the day for an informal 20-minute talk followed by a chance for you to ask questions.
Jilly hardly needs an introduction! She is a journalist, popular author and media superstar. The author of many number one bestselling novels, she lives in Gloucestershire with her rescue greyhound.
She was appointed an OBE in 2004 for services to literature, and in 2009 was awarded an honorary Doctorate of Letters by the University of Gloucestershire for her contribution to literature and services to the County. In 2017, she had her OBE upgraded to a CBE in the New Year’s Honours for services to literature and charity.
Jilly’s novels include RIDERS, RIVALS, POLO, THE MAN WHO MADE HUSBANDS JEALOUS, PANDORA AND WICKED.
There is limited availability for this event, and library authorities are restricted to a maximum of two members of staff.
