John Sandford is an American novelist and former journalist who has won various awards, including the Pulitzer Prize for Feature Writing. Sandford’s early series would prove to grow a huge readership and following, particularly for the Prey series, starring the well-known protagonist, Lucas Davenport. The most recent series from the author is the Virgil Flowers series, loosely based around previous stories including Lucas Davenport from the Prey series. John Sandford has also written a selection of short stories, non-fiction books and a handful of standalone fiction novels.
