Clipper Audio have been producing unabridged audio books on CD and Cassette since 1999 and have also introducted a new portable digital player format (Playaway) to the market in 2006. They have built an enviable reputation for both quality of titles and service to libraries across the UK, Ireland, and the English speaking world.

It is our principal aim to publish well reviewed books from all genres, which have the broadest possible appeal - books to suit all tastes, which can be found on prominent display in all good bookshops.

We read through hundreds of books each month, submitted by authors, agents and publishers prior to the original print publication, and handpick the best in modern fiction and non fiction, crime, thrillers and romance.

Once a book has been selected for recording and the rights acquired, great care is taken to select the ideal voice or voices to narrate the work and bring it to life for our listeners. We have purpose built studio space for recording audio books in Leicester, Central London and Broadway, New York. Many Clipper narrators have won awards for outstanding performances. High class narration is at the heart of a great audio book.
